What's going on at the city council and inside the Liverpool Culture Company - *from the song by The Clash
Friday, January 26, 2007
WE ARE OFFICIALLY NOMINATING THE DUSANJ BROTHERS, WHO OWN CAINS BREWERY, TO BE LIVERPOOL'S NEXT ARTISTIC DIRECTORS FOR 2008. At least we know for certain that they will be able to run a piss-up in a brewery.
Other than the art of fine brewing and keeping our heritage of local brewing, what can they offer in the way of culture? Can the play a good banjo? They have already done more for our City by producing the 08 beer, than any of the so called capital of culture committee have done.
NEW READER'S COMPETITION: HAVE YOU SEEN THE ROTTWEILLER LATELY?
Liverpool Direct chief executive, Dr David McElhinney is in hiding after escaping with millions of pounds in council taxpayer's money. If you spot him anywhere, please call the police first or tell us where and when he was spotted. Photos gratefully received. McElhinney may be in the company of a blonde lady (or two, or three). WARNING:Do not approach this man unarmed and alone.
